Sie enthalten Quecksilber und Gase. Bricht eine Röhre, gelangen diese Stoffe in die Umwelt. Die Box hält die Lampen ganz, bis sie im Recycling zerlegt werden.
Sind die Boxen für den Straßentransport geeignet?
Ja. ADR-geprüfte Boxen sind nach ADR/RID 1.1.3.10 c konform und dürfen so auf der Straße zum Entsorger transportiert werden.
Ab wann gelten Altlampen als Gefahrgut?
Altlampen mit mehr als 1 Gramm Quecksilber gelten als Gefahrgut und müssen entsprechend gesammelt und transportiert werden.
Aus welchem Material bestehen die Boxen?
Je nach Bauform aus Stahlblech oder Aluminium. Sie sind abschließbar und wetterfest für die geschützte Lagerung im Freien.
Warum nicht im Restmüll entsorgen?
Wegen des Quecksilbers gehören Leuchtstoffröhren nicht in den Restmüll. Die getrennte Sammlung in der Box ist Pflicht und schützt Umwelt und Beschäftigte.
