Depending on the version, up to 330 kg per shelf is often possible. That is considerably more than many boltless racks. The exact value is stated on the load plate. Distribute the load evenly across the shelf.
The bolted rack holds more and stands more firmly, but takes longer to assemble. The boltless rack is quick to put up and easy to reconfigure, but carries less load. For heavy goods and tall racks the bolted rack is worth it.
A little more involved than with a boltless rack, because all the parts are bolted together. In return the rack is especially sturdy. With a complete kit and a cordless screwdriver it goes quickly. Reconfiguring takes a bit more time.
Yes. A row starts with a starter bay. Each add-on bay shares one upright with its neighbour. This saves material and cost when you extend the row later.
