Answers to common questions about Open Trolleys
Offene Wagen sind Transportwagen ohne feste Wände, deren Ladefläche von allen Seiten frei zugänglich ist. Dazu gehören Plattformwagen, Basiswagen, Kommissionierwagen und Schiebebügelwagen. Sie eignen sich für schnelles Beladen und sperrige Güter.
Die Tragkraft reicht je nach Bauform von rund 150 kg bei leichten Modellen bis über 1000 kg bei schweren Plattformwagen. Der Wert gilt für den ganzen Wagen. Schweres sollte mittig und tief liegen, damit der Wagen stabil bleibt.
Der offene Wagen erlaubt schnellen Zugriff von allen Seiten und eignet sich für sperrige Teile. Ein Wagen mit Wänden schützt lose Teile vor dem Herunterfallen. Für Tempo und sperrige Güter ist der offene Wagen besser, für lose Kleinteile der Wagen mit Wänden.
Für schwere Einzellasten ist ein Plattformwagen mit großer ebener Fläche und kräftigen Rollen die richtige Wahl. Solche Modelle tragen je nach Ausführung über 1000 kg und rollen auf Vollgummi- oder PU-Rädern.
Ein offener Wagen lohnt sich, wenn schnell und von allen Seiten beladen werden soll, etwa im Versand oder in der Produktion. Soll die Ware vor Herunterfallen oder Diebstahl geschützt sein, ist ein geschlossener Wagen besser.
