Fall protection systems for two-rail ladders
A fall protection system from our fixed ladders & fall protection range secures people climbing a standard two-rail fixed ladder, that is a ladder with two parallel side rails. The core component is the fall protection rail, mounted to the side of the ladder rail, along which a guided fall arrester to DIN EN 353-1 travels. The fall arrester itself and the harness belong to Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Design and fixing
- Fall protection rails in stainless or galvanised steel, lengths from about 1.40 to 2.80 m
- side fixing to the ladder rail in two common profile widths
- additional rail fixing for a secure connection to the ladder structure
Unlike single-rail ladders with fall protection system, where the system is already built into the ladder, here you retrofit an existing two-rail ladder. Matching accessories such as rest platforms are available under fall protection accessories.
