Description
Expand your pallet rack system with this high-quality chipboard shelf from Gebrüder Schulte. The shelf with the dimensions 800x2225mm is specially designed for the accommodation of pallets and pallet cages and offers a maximum load capacity of up to 300 kg per shelf (depending on the rack frame configuration).
The 38mm thick chipboard is left raw and is additionally stabilized by integrated depth supports. This ensures an even load distribution and prevents sagging. The recessed design allows a flush finish with the shelf beams, which further improves handling and stability.
This shelf is perfectly suitable for pallet racks with a beam depth of 50 mm. The assembly is very simple: The shelf is hung into the beam profiles and securely fixed. With this chipboard shelf, you optimize the storage capacity and flexibility of your pallet rack system. The color of the depth supports is RAL 2004 Pure Orange.
Frequently asked questions about Chipboard Shelf Levels
Panels 38 mm thick are standard. They rest directly on the beams and form a closed shelf level for boxes and small parts.
Chipboard is inexpensive and suits light, dry goods. The steel panel carries more, resists moisture and is suitable for fire protection. For heavy or wet storage, steel is the better choice.
Yes. The panels can be fitted into almost any existing pallet rack. Make sure the beam spacing matches and secure the panel with Z-brackets.
The load capacity depends on the permissible beam load of your rack, not on the panel alone. Chipboard copes poorly with high point loads because it sags.
No. Chipboard absorbs moisture, swells and loses strength. Outdoors or in wet halls you should use steel panels or mesh decks.
