Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to common questions about PU Wheels
Can PU wheels go flat?
No. PU wheels are made of foam and are not filled with air. Nails, glass or swarf do not bother them. That is exactly what they are used for.
PU wheels or pneumatic wheels?
Pneumatic wheels cushion more strongly and are top on rough terrain. PU wheels cushion almost as well, but cannot go flat and need no air maintenance. For mixed use PU wheels are more practical.
PU wheels or solid rubber wheels, which are tougher?
Solid rubber is tougher and harder, ideal for very high loads and rough handling. PU cushions more softly and protects the load. Both are puncture-proof.
Do PU wheels need maintenance?
Hardly any. There is no air pressure to check and no inner tube. You only need to inspect the wheels occasionally for wear and a firm fit.
Do PU wheels leave marks on the floor?
No, PU wheels run mark-free and protect the floor. That makes them attractive for clean halls and sensitive floors.
